Introduction to the Basic Process of Dry Sand Production Line

In the dry sand production process, the use of new sand making machines instead of high operating cost rod mills greatly improves the reliability of the artificial sand production line and ensures product quality.

This process is designed for materials below 40mm (processed by jaw crushers, cone crushers, impact crushers and other coarse and medium crushers to below 40mm). In terms of production line configuration, a vertical axis impact crusher (VSI sand making machine) is used, which has the characteristics of high crushing efficiency (with fine crushing and coarse grinding functions), simple structure, easy installation and maintenance, low operating cost, and excellent product particle shape (cubic shape with less needle like content).

Process flow of dry sand production line

This production line takes raw materials below 40mm as an example to introduce.

The 0-40mm aggregate is conveyed to the impact crusher by a hanging feeder and a belt conveyor for crushing. The material that is crushed by the impact is sieved through a two-layer vibrating screen. Materials larger than 5mm are returned to the impact crusher for re crushing, forming a closed loop. Materials with a size of 3-5mm can be partially finished according to discharge requirements, and some can be returned for impact breaking and re crushing. Materials smaller than 3mm enter the coarse and fine powder separator, where 0-0.075mm of stone powder is processed. The finished material pile is composed of 0.075-3mm and 3-5mm materials. According to environmental requirements, pulse bag dust collectors can be optionally equipped.

Advantages of dry sand production process

1. Adjustment of fineness modulus and grading area: The sand making machine and sand and stone powder separator are equipped with a frequency conversion speed control system, which can adjust the production mode according to the characteristics of the raw materials, achieving quick and convenient adjustment of the fineness modulus and stone powder content of the mechanism sand. It is a high-quality production process.

2. Adjustment of stone powder content (sand equivalent): Adjust the stone powder content to the required range of use through a sand and stone powder separator.

3. Good environmental performance: equipped with a dedicated dust removal system, with low dust emission and operating noise less than 90dB.

4. Small footprint, compact production line layout, high degree of automation: the floor area is 35 meters x 20 meters, and production operation only requires 2 workers per shift.
