Introduction to Steel Slag Crushing Production Line

The steel slag crushing production line is a production line that is based on the hardness and other characteristics of steel slag, and is used for the recycling and reuse of steel slag and other resources through reasonable equipment configuration.

Applicable Material: Steel slag

Application Area: After processing, steel slag can be used as a smelting solvent, cement raw material, building aggregate, foundation backfill, railway ballast and road paving, building materials such as bricks and tiles, steel slag fertilizer and soil amendment, etc

Equipment Configuration: Vibration feeder, jaw crusher, hydraulic cone crusher, vibrating screen, belt conveyor, iron remover (magnetic separator)

Steel slag crushing process

Raw materials (below 350mm) enter the vibrating feeder, with the vibrating feeder strip set to 100mm. Materials smaller than 100mm enter the cone crusher directly from the vibrating feeder, while materials larger than 100mm enter the jaw crusher for coarse crushing. The material from the jaw crusher enters the cone crusher for secondary crushing. Before the cone crusher, an iron remover is added to remove the large iron blocks. After the cone crusher is broken, an iron remover is added to remove the fine particles from the steel slag. The material passing through the iron remover enters the vibrating screen for screening. Materials larger than 10mm are returned to the cone crusher to continue the previous process, while those smaller than 10mm are considered finished products.

Benefits of steel slag recovery

Steel slag is a solid waste generated during the steel production process, mainly composed of blast furnace slag, steel slag, iron containing dust and mud (including iron oxide scale, dust removal ash, blast furnace gas ash, etc.), fly ash, gypsum, waste refractory materials, etc.

The storage of steel slag not only occupies a large amount of farmland and pollutes the environment, but also recovers 7% -15% of steel from steel slag. After processing, steel slag can be used as a smelting solvent, cement raw material, building aggregate, foundation backfilling, railway ballast and road paving, building materials such as bricks and tiles, steel slag fertilizer and soil amendment, etc. The comprehensive utilization of steel slag can generate enormous economic and social benefits.
